Engaging audiences against
competing distractions is easier if you make them curious. Provide
chunks of information your audience wants to explore and that might
begin to be effective. Design the material with expediency built
in (they need the loos, the kids are exhausted, parent focus is
losing out to the sense they've 'done' the exhibition) and you
should have an effective resource.
Interactive media must be intuitive. Reward people interaction.
